Property in Zwickau
Zwickau is located in south-western Saxony, around 40 kilometres west of Chemnitz, and has just under 90,000 inhabitants. The city is closely linked to the history of car manufacturing: vehicles of the Horch and Audi brands, as well as the Trabant, were built here, and Volkswagen now operates a plant in the Mosel district. Zwickau is also the birthplace of the composer Robert Schumann.
Zwickau is a suitable place to live for people who work in the region or are seeking a town with urban infrastructure and proximity to the surrounding countryside. With the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, there is also demand for student accommodation. For investors, the location may be of interest as an investment property, although, as everywhere, the location and condition of the respective property should be carefully examined.
