| Mortgage interest rates continue to decline in USA |

According to the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp Freddie Mac, interest rates for 30-year fixed-rate mortgages have declined by 4.82% during the week that has ended on May, 21.
A week ago, 30-year mortgage interest rates were 4.86 %. A year before the rate was 5.98%, UPI reports.
Interest rates for 15-year fixed-rate mortgages have also declined - from 4.52% down to 4.5%. The indicator has worked out 5.55% in 2008.
According to Frank Nothaft, Freddie Mac vice-president, interest rates for long-term fixed-rate mortgages have remained on a level below 5% during last 10 weeks because U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve continue to keep interest rates low through buying-out securities.
